This policy explains how SriNova Campus Cloud & ERP ("SriNova", "we") handles personal data on this website, in the SriNova school ERP and in the SriNova parent and driver apps. We follow the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000.
1. Who controls the data
Student, parent and staff records in the ERP and apps are entered and controlled by the school that uses SriNova. The school is the data fiduciary for that data; SriNova processes it on the school's instructions. For enquiries made on this website, SriNova is responsible.
2. Data we handle
- Website enquiries: name, school, role, mobile number, email, city and your message.
- School ERP: student and parent details, attendance, fees and receipts, marks, certificates, staff and payroll details, as entered by the school.
- Parent app: the parent's mobile number, the children linked to it, and app usage needed to show their data. The app does not read contacts, messages or photos on the phone.
- Driver app and bus tracking: the bus location during a trip, sent by the GPS device or the driver's phone.
- Payments: online fee payments are processed by the school's payment gateway (for example Razorpay). We do not store card or bank login details.
3. Why we use it
- To run the services the school has asked for: admissions, fees, attendance, exams, certificates, transport, payroll and messages to parents.
- To answer your demo request and contact you about it.
- To keep the service secure, fix problems and meet legal requirements.
We do not sell personal data and do not use student data for advertising.
4. Sharing
We share data only with service providers needed to run SriNova (hosting, SMS and WhatsApp delivery, payment gateways, email), under confidentiality, or when the law requires it.
5. Storage and security
Data is stored on servers in India. Each school's data is kept in its own database. Access is limited by user roles and passwords, connections are encrypted (HTTPS), and backups are taken regularly.
6. How long we keep it
School data is kept while the school uses SriNova and for the period the school's records rules require. When a school leaves, its data is handed over and then deleted on the school's written request. Website enquiries are kept for up to two years.
7. Your rights
Parents and staff can ask their school to see, correct or delete their data. You can also write to us and we will pass the request to the school. For website enquiries, contact us directly to access or delete your details.
8. Children
Student data is entered by schools for school purposes, with the consent arrangements the school has with parents. The parent app is used by parents, not by children.
